of new digital art is a global event open to participation, aiming to nurture digital culture today.


what’s the wrong’s mission?
to create, promote and push positive forward-thinking contemporary digital art to a wider audience through a biennial event that temporarily gathers a vast global selection of digital artworks, embracing the artists, curators and institutions of today’s exciting digital culture scene.


where does the wrong happen?
the wrong happens both online and offline.

the online happens in pavilions; virtual curated spaces in any online accessible media where selected artworks are exhibited.

the offline happens in embassies; institutions, art spaces, galleries and artist run spaces in cities around the world.

the offline also happens in routers; the router shows are hosted on the wrong routers


when does the wrong happen?
the fourth edition opens november 1st, 2019 and closes march 1st. 2020. 


how big is the wrong?
since 2013, more than 3.000 artists and curators have officially participated in the wrong.

for 2017/2018 biennale; 124 curators selected 1.621 artists to show their work, in 114 pavilions, 78 events and 35 embassies around the world.


who’s participating?
a extended team of curators appoint themselves to research and feature what they like best of the new digital art scene today. 

artists can also appoint themselves via the new press refresh open pavilion, as well as other open calls published in the artists group.
