The actualization of the issue of caring for one's own mental state has received a fairly powerful impulse over the past few years. In many ways, this is due to the rapidly and dramatically changing global media landscape, the crisis of old "traditional" institutions, and turbulence sewn into the capitalist economies. Each individual finds himself in a situation where he is forced to develop his own techniques of mental self-maintenance. The range of such practices or mental constructs is a subject to constant reassembly, as the world often changes faster than we are aware of it.
