In a world where multimedia often seeks to harmonize our senses, this exhibition takes a daring leap into the uncharted territories of sensory isolation. Schaeffer’s theory led generations of people to think auditory experiences out of the sound origins. This very act of separation became an art form, an aesthetics of disentanglement that forms the cornerstone of Sensory Disconnection.
