1. Innovation
1.1. Concept and objectives

Celebrating digital culture since 2o13, The Wrong is an organised sustainable collaborative global effort, harnessing the power of the internet to generate art driven projects online and offline, now delivering a digital art biennale and tv channel, open to participation.

The objective of The Wrong is to nurture and promote artistic talent working with digital media, culture and the internet

1.2. Novelties

the end of the 6th edition will see the opening of thewrong.artmuseum; a permanent online non-for-profit meta institution aiming to display a comprehensive look at contemporary digital art, sound, video and the internet in the past 10 years, featuring a selection of works part of the wrong biennale's previous editions, with an insider look at the work in progress of tomorrow's digital art in collaboration with institutions, galleries, collectors, curators and artists

2. Exploitation potential
2.1. Market segments and potential to scale

The Wrong aims to gather the attention and participation of early and mid stage artists and curators, officials and other culture  workers, university art departments and its teachers and students, focused on new digital media, but not limited to.

Since it’s inception, The Wrong’s previous 5 biennales have outgrown each other by more than double in participation, number of works presented and visitation in each new edition. Next edition is expected to follow the same pattern, but achieving a 25% increase in visitors, general knowledge about the event, and artists/curators/institutions participation, with the proper support, is an achievable goal.

2.2. Market opportunity and timing

After the pandemia, more people are familiarised with online exhibitions and interactions. It is a good opportunity to achieve the goals of the wrong by organising the sixth edition of the wrong biennale,  a desentralised global art event, only one click away, open to participation of cultural institutions, curators and artists.

3. Impact
3.1. Expected impacts from the STARTS Cross-Fertilization Program

The Wrong is in an end of its first cycle, and now looks to reach and appeal to a larger group of citizens across Europe.

I look to be able to connect and introduce The Wrong to European Cultural Institutions and officials, and sign new collaborations across Europe to be able and fund The Wrong activities, in order to achieve economic and organisational sustainability.

Indicators to assess achievement of expect impacts (Quantitative Target)

Examples of indicators structure:

No. of citizens involved: 2.800+
No. of unique visits in online and offline venues: 20M+
Increase of 25% from past edition

3.2. Is your project receiving funding/ support from other sources?

YES (barter deals)

CARGO is providing with hosting and platform services in exchange of logo and link placement.

CANAL180 is providing with unlimited programming time in cable tv.

I look forward to explore more partnerships that help bring the project to a next level of structural development and funding, where future editions aim to be gradually automatized with AI to remove the human factor from the organisation, production and transactional part of the event, to focus human resources on the creation and curation of art.
