The Wrong Biennale brings together artists, curators, institutions and public via online pavilions and offline embassies.

The 7th edition, taking place from November 1st, 2025, to March 31st, 2026, is dedicated to artistically exploring the transformative potential of AI-generated art, video, and sound created by artists.

We invite artists and curators to dive deep into the creative possibilities of artificial intelligence, showcasing how machine learning and algorithms can shape the future of digital art.

Join us in celebrating AI as a catalyst for radical innovation, inclusion, and new paths for artistic expression.

The Wrong Biennale is an exhibition of exhibitions, organised and hosted by self-appointed curators, and built with pavilions and embassies.

Pavilion.

What is a Pavilion?
A dedicated online platform hosted by an artist, curator, or collective showcasing work by 10 or more artists.

Embassy.

What is an Embassy?
A physical event or exibition related to a pavilion, featuring artwork by 10 or more artists.

All works submitted for the 7th edition of The Wrong Biennale must incorporate artificial intelligence at some stage of their creation process, whether as a complementary tool or an integral part of the work's development.

We welcome a wide range of formats, including image, video, interactive media, sound, text, and immersive experiences, as long as AI plays a role in the creation process.

Choose a title that represents your curatorship poetically. Avoid using "Wrong”, "Biennale”, or any related terms in your pavilion/ embassy's name.

Make sure to be in accordance with guidelines, and have all artists’ formally agree to show the artwork.

Artist.

To participate as an artist, submit your work to available open calls (soon), or organize your own pavilion or embassy as curator and artist, and invite your favourite artists to join.

Curator.

Create your pavilion or embassy with your favorite artists. Create a concept and name for your exhibition project, host it online. Feel free to make an open call. Select the artists, and display the artworks in a respectful manner.

Deadlines.

Now ~ January 31st, 2o25
Send an email and let us know your name and how you want to join, either as a pavilion or embassy, also include a initial idea of your project. We will get back to you via email to open a conversation, confirm your participation, and set up additional follow ups.

February 1st ~ September 15th, 2o25
Submit your pavilion / embassy. Please confirm title, name of curator, domain link, location, and full list of artists. We will get back to you via email to confirm all details of your participation.

November 1st, 2o25
Official opening of the 7th edition of The Wrong Biennale, featuring all selected pavilions and embassies.

Guidelines.

Embrace joy, beauty and positive creativity; avoid expressions of hate, conflict, or violence. Clearly mark adult-only content.

Pavilions must be online from November 1st, 2o25 until March 31st, 2o26. Embassies must launch / happen in between these same dates.

The Wrong is a non profit organisation, but we encourage you to fund your Pavilion / Embassy via donations, grants, institutional support and sponsors.

The Wrong is an Art Biennale, not an art fair or NFT marketplace. Pavilions with crypto wallet requests, pay-per-view or intrusive practices won't be accepted. The Wrong appreciates pre-algorithm internet and one-click-away accessibility to the artworks.

Submit.

Submit your pavilion / embassy with your title, curator's name, description, domain link, aproximate location of curator and confirmed artists. Include a curation statement and short bios of all participants. All submissions are reviewed for quality and conformity.
