AI art emerges as a threshold, a restless site of friction. Beneath its surfaces lie invisible infrastructures—datasets, models, algorithms—that give rise to both meaning and opacity. The works of Expanded Field linger in this paradox: where machines extend vision yet cloud it, where error becomes poetics, where unseen architectures generate images both authored and authorless. Here, expansion is not absence, but a space to rehearse new forms of desire.
